  18. You may receive the error "Routine Not Found" when starting Windows
  19. Help (WINHELP.EXE).
  20.  
  21. CAUSE
  22. =====
  23.  
  24. This error occurs when the index file is not being loaded correctly,
  25. which happens if Windows Help is invoked in any of the following ways:
  26.  
  27.  - By typing "winhelp <file.hlp>" (where <file.hlp> is the filename of
  28.    the help file you want to run) at the MS-DOS command prompt. Do not
  29.    type the quotation marks.
  30.  
  31.  - By running WINHELP.EXE and choosing Open from the File menu.
  32.  
  33.  - If you add "winhelp <file.hlp>" (where <file.hlp> is the name of the
  34.    help file) as an icon in Program Manager. Do not type the quotation
  35.    marks.
  36.  
  37. WORKAROUND
  38. ==========
  39.  
  40. To work around this problem, start Windows Help using one of the
  41. following methods:
  42.  
  43.  - Double-click the .HLP file in File Manager.
  44.  
  45.  - Select the .HLP file and drag it into Program Manager to create an
  46.    icon.
  47.  
  48.  - Enter the .HLP file in Program Manager, specify the working
  49.    directory and ONLY enter the .HLP file and its path in the Command
  50.    Line box.
